Many readers have suggested that they would like an all-natural lip care product. We developed People's Pharmacy Natural Lip Care to help ease dry chapped lips with all-natural ingredients.
To accomplish this we enlisted an amazing natural-product chemist who has had decades of experience producing some of the most successful lip balms ever developed. Tireless effort on his part and much tasting and testing on our part led to The People's Pharmacy Pomegranate Natural Lip Care. It offers you the delicious taste of this antioxidant rich fruit along with the power of pomegranate extract. No petroleum products ever.
Many lip balms contain sunscreen. That may seem like a great idea, especially in the summer. But several sunscreen ingredients can actually be irritating to sensitive tissues, like lips. You may discover that your lip balm may actually be causing you problems if you are not careful. We continue to hear from people who are convinced that their dry lips are caused in part by their lip balm.
The all-natural ingredients in our Pomegranate Natural Lip Care go on smooth and the taste is terrific.

Like it and will order more.
Would like it better unflavored
I keep a supply of these lip balms on hand. They are used year round in my house.
This is a wonderful product but the flavor makes you want to lick your lips which is what you don’t want to do. Cut the flavor and it will be perfect. I want to thank the customer who said that she uses it for her cuticles. Mine are extremely dry and I thought this was helpful. Next time I get a cold, I will try the lip care for my peeling nose too. Thanks again.
This is the only lip balm that works for me! I tried every brand the drugstore offered, but most just made my lips more cracked and dry. I use it all year and I keep a tube in handy locations: by my bed, in my pocket, in my car, etc. Thanks for restocking it!
I got the lip balm as a free sample in my deodorant purchase. I have tried numerous lip balms e.g. Palmer’s, Nivea, Vaseline, even petroleum jelly but none of them worked. Was afraid to use this one as the other lip balms either had a sticky residue or made my lips peel. The consistency of this lip balm is very smooth and doesn’t leave a thick residue despite applying it heavily on my lips. The taste is amazing! It is so hard not to lick my lips.
My husband has found it very effective. Yes, they are irritating to open, but worth it.
I was surprised, when I bought several tubes in December 2015, to find that they were marked with an expiration date of December 2015. I emailed the website, and was told that they were good for another two years.
Way too sweet to use. After one application I had to wipe it off my lips.
I love that this lip balm is all natural, effective, and long lasting, but the taste is overpowering and you really should consider solving the “sticky” cap issue after the security wrapping is removed. A simple shrink wrap would do the trick.
This is my second time ordering four tubes and I just can’t imagine not having any. I keep one in my purse and one in the kitchen. It is the best. I love the taste too.
I was excited to get the lip balm. It’s to strong taste cannot use going back to my standby Burt’s Bees
I have made numerous orders over the past year and I’m totally satisfied. It protects my lips year round, especially in the dry periods of summer and of course the winter. The top removes easy, just cut below the top at the paper wrapper.
I have searched for a long time to find a lip treatment which will fix my overly sensitive lips. I did not find that your pomegranate lip balm was any better than the drawer full of other products I have tried and relegated to the junk lip balm drawer. Sorry I can not be more positive. I, too, am a big fan of yours so it is with a bit of reluctance that I post this review.
I had an exceptionally bad cold; my face was swollen from the congestion & the skin on my nose was red & alligatored. I knew the skin peeling off was next. When this has happened in the past, lotion has never helped, so I decided to try my wonderful pomegranate lip balm. I drew all over my nose with it, and it healed the skin; redness gone, no peeling! I was thrilled, because constantly blowing your nose with chapped, raw skin is not fun. I also use it regularly on my cuticles. (Yes, I have separate sticks for each task!) It works well, and stays put on the cuticle overnight. I didn’t really mention lips, but it is very good for those, too. I love this product!
Difficult to open. It worked no better than the regular with the disadvantage that the flavour encouraged you to lick your lips.
Wonderful product that cleared up my angular chelitis in one week after months of trying a variety of home remedies.
I love this lip balm! It tastes great and seems to last longer than the usual brand I use. I also appreciate all the natural ingredients in it and that it is a little larger than other tubes.
I would have given the lip balm itself 5 stars but deducted a couple of stars because of the packaging of the tube, which was ridiculously hard to break into, i.e. since there was no obvious way to get the top off, I finally cut and clawed the wrapper off so I could access the cap. When the wrapper was removed, the cap was very sticky so I had to go at it with a Q-tip soaked in nail polish remover. This all seemed like an absurd and unnecessary hassle so at this time, I won’t be buying any more People’s Pharmacy lip balms until I read that the packaging has been improved. Too bad because I’m a big People’s Pharmacy fan.
It is, if anything, more drying than regular lip balm, but the major disadvantage is that it is flavoured which encourages one to keep licking one’s lips.
